Tingatinga Restaurant serves a fusion of traditional Tanzanian and Continental cuisine while Ngadu bar serves a wide variety of wines and beers.

Conservation of the environment is the second reason for the beautiful landscaped gardens sloping down to a small river which is sometimes visited by elephants and the occasional colobus monkey. The first is your peaceful enjoyment.

We organize day trips to Arusha National Park which is only 3 kilometers from the lodge. Take a game drive, go on a hike to see the animals up close, or enjoy a picnic in the wild, all with an experienced guide.

Near Airport

We are less than 45 minutes away from Kilimanjaro International Airport. We can arrange to pick you up or drop you at any time of the day or night to ensure that you are comfortable and on time.

Sit back and relax in our lush organic garden of about 1 hectare above a small gorge filled with impressive giant trees of rain forests bustling with bird life and the occasional Vervet or Colobus monkey.

I stayed at Kilimanjaro Eco Lodge in January 2019 for only one night, before we went on safari. Great location as a starting point for several parks.. The lodge is really nice, lush, green and peaceful surroundings, great and friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. The terrace/rooftop was especially great for relaxing. Also, the meals were delicious, and the WiFi worked perfectly!

Properly is very quaint and homely! Owner came to greet us as soon as we arrived and made sure we are all very well cared for throughout our stay! Absolutely top notched services and the rooms are airy and clean! Hot water and WIFI is available and electricity runs 24/7. Food is delicious and abundant! Will definitely recommend this lodge as a kick off to any safari tours if you’re starting from Arusha! Will be back for sure!
